Biography

I am a longstanding member of the National Writers Union (NWU), and have edited manuscripts for over 30 years in prior employment roles and on a freelance basis. In 2012, I began ghostwriting blog articles and books via an online freelancing platform (called Elance), which was was the predecessor of UpWork.com. I have ghostwritten thousands of blog articles and hundreds of books since that time. Meanwhile, I still perform both developmental editing and copy-editing of nonfiction (including memoirs), plus copy-editing of fiction manuscripts, in my own sole proprietorship business and as an Upwork.com freelance editor/ghostwriter. My particular area of nonfiction specialization is healthcare, although I can ghostwrite and edit manuscripts on a tremendously wide array of topics.

I grew up in NYC until age 14, when my family relocated to a rural area in Massachusetts. After a decade in San Francisco, I returned to New England and now live in the Greater Boston Area. I hold a Masters in Public Health (in Community Health Education), and BA in Women's Studies. My other interests include gardening, camping, and teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
